As part of the Linux Build Team, proactive work, expertise, capacity management, and strict adherence to ITIL processes are essential to maintain service availability.
There should also be a strong focus on strategic planning, including engagement with the Global team and technology evolution, to ensure the platform remains fit for purpose.
The daily work will follow the Agile methodology to deliver features and evolutions on time.
The role involves being a technical expert in the Linux product domain within a Build squad, including analysis, engineering, technical leadership, and project management to meet AXA GO & Partners' requirements.
This individual must be capable of working in an Agile OS product team within a multinational environment supporting AXA Partners across Europe and globally.
Missions:
- Engineer (Build) and test solutions, document them, and hand over to the operations team.
- Support teams providing 3rd level support to operations (onshore & offshore).
- Act as SME and undertake project activities.
- Drive process improvement initiatives (Automation, documentation, transition to offshore).
- Support proactive maintenance, including upgrades, patching, hardening, vulnerability management, capacity, and inventory management.
- Ensure solutions align with AXA GO strategy.
- Maintain audit compliance at agreed levels.
Measures:
- Complete project tasks on time, within budget, and to specifications (OTOBOS).
- Meet TargConet KPI for man-days lost due to P1 incidents.
- Avoid outages caused by maintenance or poorly planned changes.
- Identify and resolve performance issues with no customer impact.
- Maintain audit and compliance deliverables within deadlines.

Your Profile
Skills:
- A successful computer science education (university, technical college, etc.) is a plus.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in relevant areas.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies using Git, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, or Chef.
- Expertise in one or more relevant technologies, with multi-year hands-on experience and vendor certifications.
- Interest in infrastructure technologies (network, virtualization, OS, storage) to facilitate effective discussions and solutions.
- Structured, process-oriented thinking and familiarity with ITIL in an enterprise environment with offshore support.
Technical skills:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or CentOS 5-9.
- Linux/Unix servers (hundreds to thousands).
- Red Hat Satellite / DS389 / OpenLDAP (plus).
- AWS / Azure.
- Terraform.
