ALSTOM Gruppe in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine invites ambitious interns to join our high-tech department to assess, integrate and validate LiDAR technologies for railway applications and help develop a complete sensing solution.

As part of the development team, you will conduct benchmarking, run tests in the lab, model the final system in 3D CAD and coordinate with suppliers to request quotations; starting Sept 2026 or Feb 2027, for six months.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Strong skills in sensor technologies and system development.
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling and mechanical design.
• Teamwork, autonomy and analytical thinking required.
• 6-month internship starting Sept 2026 / Feb 2027.

Responsabilités

• Assess and benchmark LiDAR technologies available on the market.
• Implement a testing procedure and conduct laboratory tests.
• Create a 3D model of the complete solution, including LiDAR packaging and integration constraints.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and engineering requirements.
• Request quotations and conduct supplier research.
• Support the development and validation of the complete sensing system.
