Qualifications

Schedule and Coverage

Three 12-hour shifts per week, 8p-8a. Flexible days with weekend requirements. Coverage area is Hillsborough County.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Under the direction of the Primary RN, identify patient and family needs and coordinate interdisciplinary team (IDT) services under physician's orders.
• Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and improve quality of life for patients and families.
• Supervise and collaborate with Primary RN and/or Care Team Manager (CTM).

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a licensed practical nursing program with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Maintain LPN license according to Florida state requirements.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Proof of valid Florida driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, critical thinking, typing, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HIPAA regulations.
