Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking a Satellite Telecommunications Payload Engineer to lead end‑to‑end management of advanced telecom payloads for a LEO constellation. You will define architectures, allocate functions across RF, digital processors, FPGA/ASIC, and onboard networks, and coordinate with ground and spacecraft teams.

You will oversee testing, qualification, and in‑orbit operations, ensuring performance budgets, link reliability, and service quality across global networks.

Qualifications

• At least 8–10 years of experience in satellite telecommunications payload engineering.
• Experience with LEO or non‑geostationary satellite systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in onboard digital processing, FPGA/ASIC, and software‑defined payloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews and design evaluations with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Define payload architectures and allocate functions across hardware and software.
• Oversee payload assembly, integration, and test activities and in‑orbit validation.
