Job summary

Eutelsat seeks a Satellite Telecommunications Payload Digital Electronics Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and qualification of digital payload equipment for satellite systems. The role requires deep expertise in digital hardware, FPGA, ASIC, and embedded software, with responsibility across the full lifecycle from requirements to in-orbit operation.

Qualifications

University degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
10-15 years of professional experience in space digital electronics engineering.
Extensive expertise in digital hardware, FPGA, ASIC, and embedded software technologies.
Strong knowledge of on-board digital processors and digital payload architectures.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level architecture and design of digital telecommunications payload equipment.
Develop and maintain technical specifications and equipment requirements.
Oversee complete lifecycle of digital payload equipment from design to in-orbit validation.
Monitor suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with requirements.
Support procurement and technical management of satellite payload equipment.
Evaluate technical proposals focusing on architecture, interfaces, and risk.
Collaborate with satellite operations to resolve in-orbit anomalies.
