European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks a Head of Lending Technology & Applications Division at its Luxembourg HQ. Lead the technology landscape supporting lending operations, shaping strategy, architecture, and delivery.

Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, business analysis and support, while driving security, resilience and value creation. The role requires senior leadership, strong business partnering, and deep expertise in Java/JavaScript, Microsoft technologies and cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
10+ years leading delivery, operations and evolution of critical applications.
Experience leading multiple tech teams in international contexts.
Ability to shape demand and define sustainable tech roadmaps.
Experience across Java/JavaScript apps, Microsoft stack and SaaS/cloud services.

Responsabilités

Shape the lending technology strategy and own the application and technology roadmap.
Provide technical leadership across an app landscape spanning bespoke Java/JavaScript, Microsoft stack and Cloud services.
Lead transformation and modernization of the lending application landscape.
Develop and empower the Division's management team and drive high-performing, diverse teams.
Ensure secure, reliable operation of critical lending applications and manage production issues.
