Information about the position

As a Litigation Director, you will be responsible for litigation matters of the Vinted group and you will be part of the legal function.

In this position, youll

• Manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters on regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters, privacy and commercial / contractual;
• Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks;
• Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes;
• Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsels in all of our jurisdictions;
• Work closely with business teams (such as Product, PR, Customer Support, and other teams to identify and address relevant legal risks);
• Build processes (e.g. training, guidelines, etc.) with other legal peers in order to support legal compliance across the company.

About you

• Qualification in one bar association
• An experienced lawyer with a litigation background in a law firm and / or as an in-house counsel (commercial, platform and consumer-related ideally)
• Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
• Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation
• Experience dealing with authorities (request for information, etc)
• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
• Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus
• The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions
• Proactivity and attention to detail
• Passionate about technology-driven businesses
