Une entreprise innovante certifiée B Corp, Energy Vault, cherche un(e) stagiaire en droit pour soutenir ses équipes dans la gestion de contrats et la conformité réglementaire. Le candidat idéal doit avoir un intérêt pour le droit environnemental et une capacité à communiquer des concepts juridiques complexes. Basé à Paris, ce stage offre une rémunération mensuelle de 1200€ brut ainsi que d'autres avantages intéressants.

Qualifications

  • Étudiant(e) en droit, spécialisation en droit environnemental appréciée.
  • Doit maîtriser les bases de données juridiques.
  • Capacité à communiquer des concepts juridiques complexes de manière claire.

Responsabilités

  • Rédiger, examiner et négocier des contrats commerciaux.
  • Supporter toutes les équipes sur des questions juridiques variées.
  • Développer des résumés sur des réglementations environnementales.

About the team

About the role

There are four different axes through which you will be able to learn and help us grow.

  • Contract Management: Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements and other legal document. You will be a key player in supporting our sales teams by providing legal insights and facilitating smooth business operations.
  • Legal Business Partner: support all teams with legal matters, for example HR (employment topics), Product (IP), potential litigations and dispute resolutions matters, compliance (including RGPD), corporate matters… You will be expected to be polyvalent, keen to learn topics outside of your area of expertise, and work closely with our external counsels when needed.
  • Regulatory Insight: Develop and update concise one-pagers on various environmental and legal regulations for our teams (sales and marketing, but also product). This requires staying abreast of the latest legal developments within our industry, enabling us to adapt and thrive.
  • Research and Product Development: Conduct comprehensive research on Climate, Carbon, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) regulations. Your insights will directly influence the design and features of our products, helping our customers comply with complex regulations.

Required skills

    • Educational Background:You are on track to complete your law degree (preferably in corporate law) from a reputable institution, with a specialization or significant interest in environmental law.
    • Curiosity and Adaptability: We don’t expect you to be an expert in all aspects of the law, but to be proactive in researching and solving legal issues by exposing key risks and allow us to make the right business decisions.
    • Regulatory Acumen: Excellent legal research skills (mastering legal databases) and an understanding of contract law and corporate law. Familiarity with international standards, environmental legislation and regulations is a plus.
    • ️ Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, understandable language for non-legal teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
    • Problem Solving & teamwork: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Languages: Proficient in both French and English

      This position is based in Paris, all candidates based outside of the region will not be validated.
      We require availability starting in January.Candidates available later in the year will be considered but not prioritised.

Compensation and benefits

  • A monthly salary of1200€ (gross)
