Une entreprise de santé animale basée à Vanves recherche un Directeur Juridique pour la région Europe / Moyen-Orient / Afrique. Le candidat idéal aura au moins 12 ans d'expérience, des compétences en gestion et une maîtrise parfaite de l'anglais. Le rôle consiste à diriger une équipe d'avocats, gérer des litiges complexes et fournir des conseils juridiques stratégiques. Qualifications

Overview

missions :

Our Legal Department based in Paris is looking for a Legal Director for the Europe / Middle East / Africa region with at least 12 years of experience and strong management skills. The Legal Director will lead a team of 7 to 8 lawyers based in Paris and Libourne (head office in Gironde) and will also be called upon to directly manage complex cases such as litigation and the negotiation of licensing and business development agreements. The team is supported by 2 / 3 interns on a permanent basis (law student profiles). The work mainly focuses on : - negotiating transactions and drafting a wide variety of contracts with significant commercial law, intellectual property, and competition law implications, - managing any related litigation, - providing advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 7 to 8 lawyers based in Paris and Libourne; oversee workload, professional development, and performance.
• Directly manage complex cases including litigation and negotiations of licensing and business development agreements.
• Provide legal advice and risk assessment across the Europe / Middle East / Africa region.
• Coordinate with interns (2–3 perma­nent) and leverage support for efficient operations.
• Negotiate transactions and draft a wide variety of contracts with implications in commercial law, intellectual property, and competition law.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business law / competition law and distribution and / or intellectual property law.
• At least 12 years of experience in a similar role in an international environment or law firm.
• Proven management experience.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting industrial property rights licenses (patents, technologies, know-how), and in managing litigation, which you will handle directly.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; skilled at managing cultural differences.
• Comfort with new technologies and digital tools in the context of the digital transformation of Ceva's Legal Department (CLM & Artificial Intelligence).
• Dynamic by nature with a focus on precision, organizational skills, responsiveness, initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills.
