Roundtable, based in Paris, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its growing team and tackle complex questions across Europe. You will work at the intersection of law, product and business, handling corporate, tax and regulatory matters for multi-jurisdiction investments.
The role requires a Master in law, 4+ years at a top firm or equivalent, and fluency in English and French. You will collaborate with product, sales and operations to automate legal processes and support rapid scaling.
Roundtable is aiming to revolutionise private asset management by building a social platform to democratise investments in alternative assets in Europe (start-ups, venture capital funds, private equity, art, crypto-assets, etc.).
Our vision is that alternative asset classes will grow fast in the coming years, as the returns of more traditional investments (real estate, stock markets, etc.) are decreasing, inflation is growing, and tech makes it easier than ever to democratise this type of investments outside of the Ultra High Net Worth sphere.
As a first step, Roundtable has been building the go-to platform for everything related to angel investing in startups.
Roundtable now empowers angel investors to invite their network to co-invest alongside them, automating all the regulatory and process flows under the hood.
We have sold more than 600 deals, worth more than 350M€ and have onboarded more than 15k investors.
We are also enabling them to seamlessly start small VC funds to share their deal flow even more easily.
This year, we are opening other asset classes (such as real estate and private equity) to become the one-stop shop for non-professional investors for all alternative asset investments.
