H seeks a Legal Counsel to join our Paris-based legal team, focusing on contracts and commercial topics related to AI services.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, monitor GDPR and AI regulatory developments, and collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure compliant deployments of AI technologies. Hybrid work model in Paris; in-office 3 days per week. Experience in a fast-growing tech environment and bar admission preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law with bar admission; 3–5 years in a fast-growing tech or AI-related environment focusing on contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy (GDPR), IP, contract law and liability.
• Excellent communication, international mindset, adaptability and autonomy.

Responsabilités

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, partners, customers and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated on AI regulatory developments and translate them into contract changes.

Role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and focus primarily on Contracts & Commercial topics. As a member of our legal team (based in Paris), you will be instrumental in:

• Supporting our business in drafting our contracts, agreements and terms to enable deal making and revenue generation

• Driving contract negotiations and helping adapt our contracts to the evolving AI regulatory and compliance landscape, including data privacy

The role reports into our General Counsel, based in Paris.

Responsibilities

• Draft and provide strategic advice on a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to AI-related service agreements

• Negotiate (markup, arguments, strategies) such contracts with suppliers, partners, customers and other stakeholders

• Stay updated on the latest products and AI-related legal and regulatory developments and translate them into contract adaptation and negotiation guidance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, in close partnership with technical and business teams, to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in the deployment of AI technologies

• Help on other legal topics as needed (labor law, corporate, competition law, etc.)

Requirements

• Master's degree in law; a bar admission; experience in a fast-growing environment.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a related technology or AI-focused environment involving contract negotiation.

• Good knowledge of the relevant areas of law, such as data privacy and protection issues (GDPR and related frameworks), intellectual property, contract law and liability, regulatory and compliance.

Location:

• Paris.

• This role is hybrid, and you are expected to be in the office 3 days a week on average.
