Une entreprise dynamique de technologie recherche un avocat qualifié pour rejoindre son équipe juridique EMEA. Le candidat idéal apportera une expertise en droit IT/IP et soutiendra des initiatives de transformation numérique en fournissant des conseils juridiques pragmatiques et orientés vers les affaires. Ce rôle est essentiel pour faciliter la transition de l'entreprise vers un modèle SaaS. Le potentiel d'évolution et l'engagement envers l'innovation sont au cœur de notre culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ années d'expérience en tant que juriste d'entreprise ou en cabinet à l'international.
• Expérience avec des transactions SaaS et Cloud.
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement agité et multiculturel.

Responsabilités

• Fournir un soutien juridique autonome aux équipes commerciales.
• Rédiger et négocier des contrats commerciaux variés, y compris pour le Cloud/SaaS.
• Conseiller sur les litiges commerciaux et la conformité logicielle.

Your Team:

o You will work within PTC’s EMEA Legal Team, covering in-house legal topics across the EMEA Region, with focus on commercial business support for France, Switzerland and possibly the Nordic countries, as well as providing guidance on other areas of expertise such as labor law and helping oversee corporate maintenance activities for all of our European entities.

Your Impact:

o You will have the opportunity to contribute to extending PTC’s image and exponential growth strategy as a trusted business partner on business-critical solutions and digitization strategies by providing pragmatic legal advice with the required business acumen on all internal, customer and partner facing activities.

o You will have the chance to make your impact on PTC’s strategic move from an on-prem Subscription to a SaaS Company and support the Company throughout this transition with your guidance.

o You will have a special attention to IT law and licensing matters, giving legal advice to support commercial negotiations and suggest respective innovation. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute with your expertise in other areas such as labor law.

o You will be able to work on Legal Tech and Digital Transformation initiatives in a top-notch Legal ecosystem and by that influence and shape the way we will be working and doing business tomorrow.

Your Day-To-Day:

o Provide autonomous legal support and cross-functional guidance to the Sales, Channel Sales and Customer Success organizations by drafting and negotiating all types of commercial agreements, including Cloud/SaaS, software license agreements, services agreements and partner agreements.

o Help oversee the corporate maintenance activities in the EMEA region and provide guidance to our cross-functional business partners collaborating with the HR, Accounting, Tax, and the external consultants as well as with our Corporate teams at the headquarters. (desirable, however, not both of them cumulatively mandatory)

o Advise on all aspects of contract and IP/IT law, and collaborate with the Finance and Commercial-Desk teams on questions of US revenue recognition and applicable internal business rules.

o Advise relating to commercial disputes and their settlement, including software compliance and infringement matters.

o Partner with your cross-functional colleagues across EMEA and on a global level.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

o You are a French qualified lawyer (preferably fully proficient in more than one jurisdiction) with 3+ years of relevant working experience gained as in-house legal counsel and/or in private practice in an international setting, with at least 2 years worked either in a specialist IT/IP law firm or in-house in an IT/IP company.

o Experience with complex contracts and transactions in fast paced technology driven companies, ideally with a focus on SaaS and Cloud transactions.

o Results oriented, pragmatic, adaptable to change, hands-on, self-starter able to work with incomplete information, innovative mindset and team player.

o Ability to collaborate successfully with and provide leadership to cross-functional stakeholders; to work on multiple projects at the same time, in a multi-cultural, agile, diverse and high paced environment.

o Excellent interpersonal skills with a (great) sense of humor, ability to listen.

o Excellent written & oral communication skills in French and English are a must, other European languages would be beneficial.

Our offices in France are in Paris, Toulouse and Aix-en-Provence. At PTC, we do have a worldwide Flex@PTC policy that enables hybrid working models. Working from another office location in Europe is also possible.
