Qualifications

• Minimum 3 ans d'expérience en droit des fonds et réglementations.

Description du poste

The legal department advises the management of Swiss Life Asset Managers Luxembourg and supports its business teams on a vast range of legal, regulatory, contractual and corporate matters. Swiss Life Asset Managers is an authorised UCITS management company, alternative investment fund manager and holds ancillary MIFID licenses. The legal department also assumes key responsibilities in the setting up of new investment funds and maintenance of existing structures. As such legal is in charge of coordinating filings with the Luxembourg regulator as well as the drafting, negotiation and/or review of fund documentation, agreements, side letters, marketing documentation etc.

To strengthen our team, we are hiring a motivated Legal Advisor (f/m/d).

Responsibilities

• Assuming prime responsibilities in fund (both UCITS and AIFs) formation and maintenance on behalf of the Legal team
• Review SFDR related disclosures and publications
• Participation in preliminary fund structuring discussions to determine the most appropriate set up
• Drafting or reviewing of the legal documentation of the funds under management and amendments thereto
• Reviewing and negotiating of the delegation agreements and other agreements to be entered into with the relevant service providers (e.g. the depositary, investment advisor)
• Liaising with external legal counsels as well as with the Luxembourg regulator to obtain the necessary regulatory approvals
• Assisting in the set-up, amendments, and liquidation of investment funds
• Working closely with other colleagues and senior management to provide advice on various issues relating to fund

Experience

• Completed University degree in law
• At least 3 years of experience in fund laws and regulations gained either in a Luxembourg law firm or another management company
• Interest and motivation to work in a fast growing medium-sized company
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Critical thinker with the ability to manage daily tasks and escalate issues appropriately
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic advice
• Teamplayer with a curious mind-set
• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple complex tasks effectively.
• Any experience in relation to ESG / SFDR or MiFID is an advantage
• Legal and technical language skills in English - German or French is an advantage
