ING Solutions Investment Management (ISIM) is seeking a Legal Advisor to support its activities in Luxembourg, including current and future developments.
Work Environment
ISIM, a subsidiary of ING Luxembourg, holds licenses to manage both UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) as a "Super ManCo." It oversees investment funds distributed by ING Group entities.
Since its launch in 2014, ISIM has been the ManCo of ING Group, developing as a key provider of investment fund solutions within ING Group, managing Luxembourg and foreign funds.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft and update legal documents such as prospectuses, articles of incorporation, management regulations, notices to shareholders, and board resolutions, including filings with supervisory authorities.
- Update prospectuses to reflect changes like creation/removal of sub-funds, share classes, investment policies, regulatory changes, and mergers (including cross-border).
- Liaise with supervisory authorities and governance bodies.
- Assist product and project teams in onboarding, launching, and restructuring funds across Luxembourg, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Spain, collaborating with regulators and legal advisors.
- Participate in product approval processes for new products, strategies, and markets, as well as modifications to existing ones.
- Review and prepare agreements related to management, distribution, investment management, administration, and depositary services.
- Carry out corporate legal activities for the Management Company and funds.
- Monitor legal developments affecting the Management Company by contributing to legal dashboards and analyzing legislative impacts.
- Share legal knowledge with other functions within the Management Company.

Your Profile
Knowledge and Experience
- Master's degree in Law, Economics, or Finance.
- Practical experience in the fund industry in a similar legal role.
Skills
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for UCITS and AIF funds.
- Understanding of Luxembourg company law.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products.
- Familiarity with Belgian, Dutch, Irish, or Spanish fund law is a plus.
- Flexible, eager to learn, rigorous, and critically minded.
- Responsible and autonomous.
- Good communication skills in both oral and written French and English; Dutch is an advantage.
