Qualifications

  • Expérience substantielle dans le domaine électrique, mécanique ou hydraulique.

The Service Department, responsible for the smooth operation of its customers' wind farms, is looking for a Team Leader that will be responsible for optimizing the performance of machines throughout their life cycle, ensuring that wind turbines run at their maximum capacity and provide the best energy efficiency for our clients. The Service department has a very important role in order to develop customer loyalty on a long term.

Responsibilities:
  1. You are the back-up of the Supervisor in field operations related maintenance tasks.
  2. Follow up on maintenance tasks and supervise technicians in day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with standards for scheduled/unscheduled activities.
  3. Perform advanced level operational wind turbine maintenance and/or installation tasks as discovered or assigned. This includes proficient operation and use of specialized tools and diagnostic processes (e.g., data logger, Vestas Turbine Monitor, borescope).
  4. Document turbine issues as required and enter data in company systems such as SF, SAP.
  5. Interface and manipulate turbine control and mechanical systems to safely conduct service and/or installation tasks.
  6. Ensure that quality, costs, and service delivery goals are met based on the Service's needs and goals.
  7. Ensure compliance with Vestas standards, safety rules, procedures, and processes (work permits, forms, security alerts, etc.).
  8. Provide high-quality daily reporting and service documentation in Salesforce and other Vestas systems such as I-auditor in accordance with agreed reporting standards.
  9. Provide training/coaching to technicians and operators in technical areas, operational procedures, and safety practices.
  10. Support the supervisor for continuous evaluation and competence development of the staff.
  11. May contact customers regarding completed and upcoming service and repairs (check in/out reasons).
Competencies:
  1. Establish and maintain cordial and effective working relationships.
  2. Be a role model for other employees.
  3. Substantial experience or degree within the electrical field, mechanics, and/or hydraulics in accordance with local requirements and standards (local certifications).
  4. Recommended to have knowledge of and teaching experience with troubleshooting techniques, good problem-solving skills, and field training capabilities.
  5. Demonstrate team attributes and leadership skills.
  6. Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and delivering the right solutions.
  7. Ability to maintain an attitude that promotes a positive image to internal and external customers, maintaining a professional attitude even when problems and crisis situations arise.
  8. Demonstrated advanced use of complex power tools such as hydraulic rams, inductive heaters, and diagnostic tools (e.g., advanced fluke meter functions, VOB data collection).
  9. Good knowledge of local language and English.
  10. Ambassador of QUALITY and SAFETY.
  11. Driving license.
