Job summary

Overstory is seeking an experienced product leader to guide Vegetation Intelligence, turning satellite imagery and risk models into actionable insights for utilities. You’ll own the end‑to‑end roadmap and work closely with data science and engineering.

This role combines ML‑adjacent modeling work with product development, user research, and market strategy, reporting to the Director of Product. You’ll help prevent outages and wildfires while scaling a mission‑driven product.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with ML products.
• Experience shipping ML‑driven products.
• Turning data into customer value.
• Startup environment and ambiguity handled.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for Vegetation Intelligence from ML models to customer actions.
• Advance detection models and integrate outputs into risk data for customers.
• Lead user research to ground product bets in field decisions.
• Shift roadmap toward customer-driven priorities while keeping technical rigor.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to ship product value.
• Incorporate customer feedback to improve model performance over time.
• Communicate trade-offs and priorities clearly within teams.
