Synapsco is seeking a PMO Procurement Lead in Paris, responsible for managing procurement activities and overseeing project procurement processes. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas procurement.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and French, possesses strong negotiation skills, and excels in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

The PMO Procurement Lead is the technical reference (Subject Matter Expert) in O\u0027G Material (PVV and STR) and responsible for managing and overseeing procurement activities on the projects within the PMO perimeter and routine contracts when required by the affiliate.

Responsibilities

• On Medium/large scale Project (with a dedicated Project Procurement lead):
  • Support/coach the Project team on procurement methodology, follow up and reporting.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related matters within the PMO.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvement.
  • Lead procurement planning sessions with project teams to establish clear procurement schedules and requirements.
• On small scale Project / Routine Activities driven by the Affiliate:
  • Execute all the procurement activities and expediting.
  • Manage procurement budgets for projects, ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers, senior management, and other stakeholders on procurement status, risks, and issues.
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices in procurement management and stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.

Knowledge/Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience with procurement in Oil & Gas, in-depth knowledge of the piping and structural O\u0027G material.
