Role and Responsibilities

• Develop Quortex live content streaming core modules (Video, Audio, Data processing)
• Design scalable microservices architecture
• Write unit, functional, and performance tests for quality assurance
• Analyze and resolve product issues
• Develop solutions to enhance performance or reduce costs
• Participate actively in Agile processes: scope, estimate, and prioritize work

Required Technologies

• Experience with software development on Linux
• Proficiency in Python and C programming languages
• Experience with scripting languages and Git

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with OTT systems/transport layers: MP4, TS, HLS, DASH, CMAF
• Knowledge of video standards: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, HEVC
• Understanding of OTT audio, subtitles standards, and DRM (e.g., Fairplay, PlayReady, Widewine)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, rigorous, and humorous attitude
• Fluent in French and English, both oral and written
