Job summary

Anotech Energy is seeking a Senior Laboratory Specialist to oversee lab preparation for plant start-up and to implement a permanent LIMS. You will mentor staff, supervise commissioning activities, and ensure the laboratory is fully operational with adequate chemicals and consumables.

The role requires a Master’s in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering and 15+ years in Oil & Gas labs, including LNG experience, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 15+ years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry with lab activities and procedures.
• 5+ years in LNG plant laboratory in a supervisory role in a multi-cultural environment.
• Technical competencies: production operations, laboratory activities, process operations, regulations, commissioning/start-up of O&G facilities, safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of preparing laboratory equipment, manuals, and SOPs for plant start-up.
• Develop and implement a permanent Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Mentor and train routine operation laboratory personnel.
• Supervise commissioning of all laboratory equipment and ensure availability for plant start-up.
• Coordinate sampling and testing activities, determine methods of analysis, and troubleshoot issues.
• Handover established laboratory facility to the routing laboratory operation.
