Job Description

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is an open-world action-adventure game set in a captivating space opera universe. It is also the direct prequel to the 2003 classic! Thanks to the technological advancements provided by our proprietary Voyager engine, Beyond Good & Evil 2 aims to offer an organic, seamless experience of exploration and space piracy on a solar system scale, featuring exotic locations, colorful characters, and numerous mysteries to uncover—either solo or with friends. If you’re looking for a unique adventure, join our team to help us create System 3!

Why we need you:

  • Ensure consistency across locations, from concept through final implementation
  • Develop a clear and understandable design language for the player

Design & Player Experience

  • Strive for simplicity, challenge complexity when necessary, and refocus the experience on fun
  • Place playtesting at the center of the process
  • Analyze player behavior
  • Refine designs through iteration

Team Management

  • Lead a team of 6–7 Level Designers
  • Help less experienced team members develop their skills by sharing best practices
  • Empower senior team members to take ownership of key areas

  • Anticipate risks, workload, and dependencies
  • Facilitate smooth communication with the gameplay, art, and tech teams
  • Define, document, and implement simple and effective processes
  • Document best practices and world-building guidelines

Your future work environment:
