Job summary

CAST, a software vendor, seeks a Lead Java Developer to join its R&D team in Paris. You will contribute to a high-performance platform that analyzes code and supports cloud readiness, reporting to the head of Platform Team. The role involves designing new features, reviewing architecture, mentoring peers, and exploring innovative technologies.

You will work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment across Paris and Bangalore, with relocation support to facilitate a move and growth within CAST.

Qualifications

• Strong Java 8+ experience with Lambdas and Streams.
• Solid Spring ecosystem knowledge (Boot, MVC, Security, JPA, Cloud).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of RESTful and microservices architecture.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Platform Team in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, agile environment in Paris (France) and Bangalore (India).
• Collaborate on writing and designing new features and improving existing ones.
• Participate in feature design and architecture reviews.
• Ensure code meets technical requirements and follow coding guidelines; review and merge changes.
• Mentor and help other developers and newcomers to grow skills.
• Keep bandwidth to explore new technologies and build prototypes.
