CAST is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer in Paris (France) with 4–10 years of experience in a software company. The role involves leading a DevOps team to automate build and release processes, manage repositories, and deploy via Octopus and internal servers.

EU relocation assistance is available, and CAST provides a relocation package to Paris for the right candidate. The role reports to the head of Development in France and requires strong experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, and RDBMS.

Competenze

• 4+ years of Build & Release engineering experience.
• 2+ years scripting experience (Groovy/Ant/PowerShell/DOS/Shell).
• Experience with Git and VM administration (Windows and Linux).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jenkins and deployment tools like Octopus or Puppet.

CAST is looking for Lead DevOps Engineer with 4-10 years of experience in a software company.

Job definition

Working at CAST R&D means being an important part of a highly talented, fast-paced, multi-cultural and agile team based in Paris (France) and Bangalore (India). The team builds a sophisticated source code analysis platform leveraging parsing, control flow, data flow and other mechanisms to fully understand the inner structure of the complex IT Systems developed and used by the Fortune 500 companies.

You will manage DevOps team and your mission will be to automate build and release process (main technologies are C++/C#/Java/JavaScript/Python/go/SQL), manage code repositories, build setup and docker containers, deploy internal servers, deploy through Octopus Saas products and demo websites.

This position reports directly to the head of Development in France.

Profile

The candidate should have a passion for technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving.

• Must have at least 4+ years of experience as Build & Release engineer
• A concrete experience (at least 2 years) in scripting languages (groovy/Ant/PowerShell/DOS/shell)
• Experience of working with code repositories like GIT
• Experience of working with VMWare ESXi, administrating hundreds of VMs with skills for OS administration (Windows and Linux)
• Experience of working with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience of continuous integration build systems using Jenkins and deployment tools like Puppet or Octopus
• Solid Knowledge of RDBMS like PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server
• Experience with Atlassian Tools like JIRA/Confluence

Basics skills expected:

• Knowledges in a scripting language
• Machine virtualization administration
• Basics on understanding on some development language (Java, C#, C++, JS, …)
• and their subsets (Maven, Nuget, Conan, npm, …)
• Continuous integration principles and tools (Jenkins, …)
