This role involves leading engineering efforts, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with international standards while coordinating cross-disciplinary work. Candidates should have over 10 years of relevant experience in offshore projects and possess strong communication skills.

About the Role:
As the Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer, you will oversee the discipline for the Water Injection System overhaul project on an FPSO in Equatorial Guinea. You will lead engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with international standards, coordinating cross-disciplinary work, and preparing detailed deliverables related to instrumentation and control.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as discipline leader for the project.
Report directly to project management.
Prepare technical documentation (see deliverables list).
Participate in HAZOP/HAZID reviews and provide action responses
Support ongoing and future projects beyond current scope.
Ensure project planning and progress follow-up.
Organize client and internal meetings.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
Typical Deliverables List:
Machine Control Philosophy & Condition Monitoring Dashboard.
Review of existing ESD, DCS, and F&G Cause & Effect drawings.
Strategies for shutdown and non-shutdown execution (ICSS modifications).
Instrument Data Sheets, including fine filters' differential pressure gauges.
Instrumentation diagrams and troubleshooting loops.
Instrument List & I/O List.
Material Take-Off (MTO) for instrumentation installation.
Hook-Up Drawings, Cable List, and Cable Routing Layouts.
Scope of Work for Water Injection System integration into FPSO ICSS (ESD/DCS/F&G).
10+ years of experience in FEED offshore instrumentation & control projects.
Proven background working for engineering contractors in offshore O&G projects.
Fluent English, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Autonomous and capable of leading engineering efforts independently.
Expertise in international standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
