This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most exciting game studios, using leading technology to create new genre-defining games, within our collaborative Action RPG team.

What is the job about?

As a key member of the design team, you will take ownership of the game design. Focusing mostly on game design, you’ll also lead other designers working on combat, level, and audio, collaborating closely with all disciplines to implement high-quality work. You will mentor teammates, review design work, and act as a champion of quality.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Lead, document, and share design direction with other departments
• Provide clear and consistent guidance to the design team aligned with the creative vision
• Partner with Art and Technical teams to solve problems and enable the Design team to excel
• Oversee design team members' work and mentor designers
• Participate in recruitment to grow the game design team
• Design features aligned with the creative direction (game systems, combat, enemy design, AI behaviors, etc.)
• Create an open environment that encourages dialogue and creative ideas

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years of experience in game development
• Excellent understanding of systemic gameplay
• Strong project and risk management skills

• Ability to be patient, inclusive, and supportive
• Extra: Technical background (personal or educational)
• Extra: Experience as a player or in a previous Action RPG role
• Extra: Experience with Unreal and/or Unity engines
