schlaich bergermann partner in Paris seeks a Lead Facade Engineer/Architect to lead the development of innovative facade solutions and advance sbp’s in-house expertise. You will work closely with international management and shape the future of our facade design discipline.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor the team, and drive the execution of complex projects worldwide, coordinating with architects, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience as a project leader in facade design, including development of detailed solutions for various facade types
• Strong technical expertise in building physics, material science, construction methods, and detailing
• Good knowledge of national and international regulations regarding facade construction requirements
• Experience in leading and supervising interdisciplinary teams of designers and engineers, and collaborating with architects and clients

Responsabilités

• Identify new facade project opportunities and support acquisition worldwide
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to expand in-house facade expertise
• Independently plan and execute technically and aesthetically demanding projects worldwide
• Develop creative solutions in collaboration with architectural offices and consultants
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors
• Manage projects from concept to successful completion
