About the Data Factory :

The Data Factory was established 2.5 years ago to accelerate Dior's Data Ambition and drive incremental benefits through data-driven decision-making. Comprising five teams - AI Factory, Analytics Factory, Data Strategy, Data Acculturation, and Data Governance - the Data Factory plays a crucial role in advancing our data initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct report to the Head of AI Factory, the Lead Data Scientist will work within a team composed of 7 Data Scientists & a Success Manager.
• Oversee the conception, development, and industrialization of AI-oriented projects conducted at the AI Factory.
• Ensure the excellence, relevance, and consistency of solutions implemented to meet business objectives across activities such as Clienteling, Supply Chain, Finance, and Retail.
• Assess the potential and validity of AI approaches on business use cases.
• Design and implement efficient modeling approaches to meet business objectives.
• Maintain best practices, including code reviews, clean code, documentation, and testing.
• Coordinate with IT teams prior to the industrialization of AI projects.
• Measure the impact and ROI of implemented solutions.
• Lead technology watch sessions with other Data Scientists.

Profile

• Proven experience in delivering AI and Data projects.
• Experience in industrializing AI projects and monitoring their impact and stability in production.
• Advanced understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts (Time Series, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI).
• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Cloud computing and Git workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop pragmatic solutions.
• Experience with Retail, Supply Chain, or Marketing use cases is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English.
