Your Future Role

As part of our data transformation and AI projects, we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to structure, frame, and ensure excellence in our technical and methodological practices.

You will join the IT department as a cross-functional reference, working closely with Tech Leads, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business teams. Your role will be key in implementing our hybrid data platform (on-premise and cloud AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities
  • Structure and govern technical standards: Define norms, nomenclatures, and best practices for data and BI platforms; oversee technical documentation; ensure code quality; maintain data architecture coherence; contribute to technical and functional studies and architecture decisions.
  • Lead and support technical teams: Guide Tech Leads and Data Engineers in skill development; listen to technical issues; coordinate cross-team actions; promote DevOps/CI-CD and DevSecOps practices; enforce standards and participate in technology choices.
  • Development and design: Engage in coding and pipeline development; implement hybrid data platforms using modern solutions (Lakehouse, Data Mesh); promote best practices and develop control tools.
  • Stakeholder communication: Maintain clear communication with business and IT teams; make decisions diplomatically; ensure integration within the value chain.

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional teams.

  • Environments: Datalake, Lakehouse, Kubernetes, VMs.
  • Practices: CI/CD, DevSecOps, code reviews, data governance.

Compensation & Benefits

Fixed salary based on experience, paid over 13 months, with a variable part up to an additional month, participation and profit-sharing (~18%).
