ENTER THE GAME

You will join the Data Analytics team, part of a larger Data team including Data Science, Data Product, and Data Analytics teams. The Analytics team's mission is to grow the business by identifying critical insights and high-value opportunities. You will be part of a fast-growing team of over 40 passionate individuals tackling various challenges, from scaling marketing campaign analytics to building complex customer segmentations and predicting football game outcomes.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

You will join the Core Analytics team, responsible for strategic and transversal analytics projects, company-wide performance analytics, and establishing best methodological practices for the entire Analytics team.

In this key role, you will oversee Methodologies and Good Practices, partnering with Data department leaders, Lead Analysts, and other Data stakeholders to ensure high standards in quality, methodology, and technology stack across all analytics deliveries.

Some of your main responsibilities include:

• Establishing good practices and standards for SQL, DBT, and Python, ensuring alignment across Betclic
• Defining peer review processes for Analytics, including inter-squad reviews and workshops
• Creating and maintaining analysis documentation
• Managing A/B testing processes, best practices, and R&D
• Handling internal and external communications related to analytics
• Supporting analytics and Data onboarding processes
• Promoting the theory of probability and statistics through best practices, trainings, and new techniques

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

This role is suitable if:

• You hold a Master 2 in engineering or an equivalent degree
• You have at least 3 years of experience in Data Analytics or Data Science
• You are autonomous and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
• You have strong skills in SQL and Python (familiarity with DBT is a plus)
• You are proficient in Git, believing that code should be documented, versioned, and accessible
• You stay updated with the latest in Data through reading and continuous learning
• You possess a good analytical mindset, are rigorous, and can synthesize information effectively
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• Selected candidates will be contacted by Elodie for an online technical test and a 30-minute HR pre-screening
• A technical interview via video call will follow, covering SQL, Python, statistics, probability, analytics, and business acumen
• You will then have one week to complete an analytical Use Case and an AssessFirst test (personality, motivations, reasoning)
• Next, you will visit our Bordeaux offices to present your Use Case and meet with key team members, including your future manager, senior data managers, and stakeholders
• During your visit, a final HR interview will be conducted, including a debrief on your AssessFirst results

The entire recruitment process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal candidate experience.
