Celebrity Cruises is seeking an experienced CDP Baker to lead the bakery team aboard a ship, ensuring production, quality, and presentation align with standards. You will forecast production, control waste, supervise bread displays, and maintain strict USPH compliance throughout daily operations.

The role requires culinary school training, strong management and communication skills, and a proven ability to coach staff in a multicultural, fast-paced environment. Shipboard experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a CDP Baker in upscale settings; shipboard experience preferred.
• A culinary school degree is required.
• Strong management, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Superior customer service, teambuilding and conflict resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of guest satisfaction standards and quality service principles.
• Solid planning, coaching, organizing, staffing and evaluating skills.
• Basic accounting principles familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Directs, coaches, supports, supervises, and evaluates all direct reports.
• Responsible for production, quality, and presentation of the bread assortment.
• Prepare production forecasts and record leftovers to minimize waste and control costs.
• Supervise the setup of the bread display in the buffets.
• Ensure compliance with USPH rules and daily procedures.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness per Chef's schedule and protect equipment.
• Ensure bakery readiness for any USPH inspections.
• Coordinate requisition and transport from main stores to bakery.
• Ensure recipes, master list and yields meet company standards.
• Complete daily consumption recap and train assigned team members.
