IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

In this role, you will be part of the Procurement Team and be a pivotal team member contributing to our new journey ahead. You will help create, maintain, and improve excellence in our Procurement Team. Our new colleague will collaborate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the business continuity of our Antwerp site. You will report directly to the Global Senior Lead Buyer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a cost effective and efficient organization of for the Purchasing discipline
• Define and lead cross-functional purchasing teams
• Manage relationships / partnerships with internal customers
• Develop and manage relationship with suppliers and track their performance
• Contract Manager role: implement contract and ensure contract compliance
• Closely monitor internal customers contract compliance; define and take approved corrective actions to improve
• Formulate, get approval, and manage the yearly cost budget for the Purchasing plan

The Ideal candidate has:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in indirect procurement
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in procurement and/or relevant technical discipline
• Strong communication and negotiating skills in Dutch and English both orally and written
• The ability to build relationships and coordinate effectively among a wide range of (internal and external) stakeholders
• An analytic and resourceful mindset and is able to prioritize work
• A pro-active way of working and will always try to develop a solution together with his stakeholdes
• The ability to respond to shifts in the business environment, adapt and change course when necessary
