Pixaera is seeking an Associate Art Director to lead the art function behind our game-based safety training. You will guide a small team of 3D artists and an external contractor bench, owning the visual bar and ensuring modules ship on time.

You’ll set direction, support production, and contribute meaningful artwork, while evolving the art pipeline with AI acceleration and traditional Unreal workflows. Collaboration with design and SMEs is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in game or real-time 3D art.
• 2+ years leading artists (Lead Artist, Art Manager, or Associate Art Director).
• Strong fundamentals in realistic 3D art with lighting and composition.
• Experience building style guides and managing outsourced art.
• Comfortable with AI art tools; Unreal Engine experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the art team: planning, tasking, estimates, blocking, and weekly production meetings.
• Produce artwork hands-on and guide production on a small team.
• Mentor artists, give feedback, and support growth and hiring decisions.
• Maintain and enforce visual quality across modules with clear direction.
• Create and maintain style guides and asset libraries; manage external partners.
