Job Description

You join the Debt Solutions team as a lawyer. In this role, you will advise on the front office of Natixis, both in France and internationally, and handle legal documentation related to:

• Structuring and monitoring operations on financial instruments such as bonds, EMTNs, warrants, certificates, collateralized or not, issued by Natixis or its subsidiaries;
• Legal aspects of private placements and public securities offerings primarily in Europe and Asia;
• Negotiating contracts for marketing and distributing these securities;
• Developing and updating structured debt issuance programs for Natixis and its subsidiaries;
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting these securities.

Daily tasks include:

• Managing relationships with operators during product design, structuring, and underlying assets;
• Drafting and negotiating securities issuance documentation;
• Developing models and automating documentation processes;
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates will have a degree in French, English, or US business and financial law, with at least 8 years of experience in debt securities. Proficiency in:

• Legal and regulatory frameworks for securities issuance in France and Luxembourg;
• Stock market law;
• Regulatory practices in France and Luxembourg;
• Market admission rules for securities.

Attributes include good relationship skills, curiosity, agility, pragmatism, and organization. English proficiency at C1 level is required.
