CAILabs in Rennes develops cutting-edge optical solutions and invites a talented engineer to join a multidisciplinary team. You will work across the full product development cycle, from prototype development through to industrialization, tackling challenging optical architectures.

You will collaborate with optics, electronics, mechanics and software teams to define, prototype, test and validate new subsystems while supporting progression toward production.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical subsystems and photonics.
• Experience contributing to product development cycles from concept to production.
• Ability to collaborate across optics, electronics, mechanics and software teams.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the technical definition of product developments and evolutions in response to customer needs
• Contribute to upstream R&D projects to prepare future product developments
• Improve product performance by investigating and evaluating alternative technologies
• Prototype, test, integrate and interface various optical subsystems
• Experimentally validate new optical architectures
• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with the different technical teams (optics, electronics, mechanics and software)
• Support the different stages of product development through to production
