  • Banking sector expertise: You'll work within the specific framework of banking collective agreements and financial sector regulations, making your specialized knowledge directly applicable.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with PeopleOps, payroll teams, and external legal counsel, serving as the bridge between operational needs and legal requirements.
  • Growth opportunity: Potential to expand your scope to other European markets as Qonto continues its international expansion.

About your future manager: Julia, Head of People Operations and Payroll, will be your direct manager. She values clear, business-oriented communication and expects pragmatic legal advice that balances risk with operational needs. Julia encourages autonomy while fostering strong collaboration. She believes in developing her team's expertise and will support your growth as you establish this new legal pillar within PeopleOps.

About You:

  • Legal expertise: Minimum 7 years of experience in social law, with significant exposure to banking or financial sector labor law and deep knowledge of French employment regulations and complex compliance frameworks in regulated environments.
  • Risk-based Approach: Ability to assess legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
  • Qonto Culture Fit: Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across teams and support rapid decision-making.
  • Social relations experience: Hands-on experience managing CSE relationships, collective bargaining, and employee representative processes.

  • Advisory Skills: Strong ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance for non-legal teams.
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory.

At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick! Who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we've been searching for all along.
