Role Overview

The Label Relations team manages strong relationships with external Music partners and represents those partners to stakeholder teams across Amazon. As a Label Relations Manager, you will be a key contact for our labels, ensuring the best music experience for our listeners. You will own relationships with labels and distributors, driving collaborations on content launches, events, and cross-category promotions. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Content Acquisition, Operations, and International teams, you will often lead Music projects and work strategically with artists, management, and labels on initiatives to build globally from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage select music labels and distributors directly.
  2. Project-manage; serve as the central contact for internal and external stakeholders to devise and execute global marketing campaigns, ensuring high standards.
  3. Support new release planning and launches.
  4. Promote innovative ways for labels and artists to reach fans, fostering industry education and innovation.
  5. Contribute to Amazon Music projects from content and analytics perspectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in project management, marketing, or account management.
  • Experience in the music industry, such as artist relations, trade marketing, or key account management.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written French and English (C1 level or above).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the French Music Industry.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills with partners.
  • Experience in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
  • Excellent quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically with attention to detail.
