About the job

The L&D Operations Lead at Opella will be responsible for managing the operational backbone of our learning ecosystem. This role ensures the smooth execution of training programs, learning technologies, vendor management, and reporting, contributing to an efficient and impactful Opella Corporate University and its function-specific academies.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise, capable of optimizing L&D processes while ensuring a seamless learning experience for employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

L&D Operations & Administration

  • Oversee the administration of Opella’s learning programs, including scheduling, enrollment, logistics, and learner support.
  • Ensure the efficient operation and continuous improvement of Opella’s Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and other digital learning systems.
  • Manage L&D reporting, analytics, and KPIs to track training effectiveness, learner engagement, and compliance.
  • Implement governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to ensure operational excellence in L&D.

Learning Technology & Platform Management

  • Act as the primary administrator for Opella’s LXP, leading configuration, user experience, content migration, and platform enhancements.
  • Drive the adoption of social learning features, data analytics, and engagement tools within the platform.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to manage integrations and ensure system reliability.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead the outsourcing of L&D operations, including vendor selection and management.
  • Partner with external content providers, business simulation platforms, and training vendors to ensure high-quality learning solutions.
  • Work closely with HR, business leaders, and academy leads to align learning operations with Opella’s business strategy.

Content & Program Support

  • Support the deployment and management of business simulations, financial acumen training, compliance programs, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Oversee content development, ensuring relevance, quality, and seamless integration within Opella’s learning ecosystem.
  • Facilitate assessments, certifications, and upskilling initiatives to support talent development.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in LXP/LMS administration, learning analytics, and digital learning tools.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to collaborate with HR, business leaders, and external partners.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to leverage data for decision-making and optimize L&D processes.
