Kubernetes Platform Engineer - London / Paris

Responsibilities:
- Design and lead the implementation of Kubernetes clusters (on-premises and/or cloud) with high availability, scalability, and security.
- Provide Kubernetes as a product to internal teams by delivering self-service capabilities such as namespace provisioning, templated jobs, and onboarding flows.
- Build reusable platform patterns and deployment blueprints using Helm, Kustomize, or custom controllers.
- Develop and maintain platform-aware GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, and GitLab CI.
- Design tenancy-aware RBAC, network policies, and secrets management aligned with internal standards and developer autonomy.
- Deeply understand Kubernetes internals, including control plane components, CRDs, CNIs, and storage provisioning.
- Apply policy-as-code via admission controllers (OPA/Gatekeeper) to enforce compliance and enable safe multi-tenancy.
- Implement observability stacks to monitor cluster health, workload status, and policy violations, exposing this information through dashboards or APIs.
- Manage and support Kubernetes clusters across production, staging, and development environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, container, and networking issues, automating operational tasks and developing developer-friendly tooling.
- Support application teams with onboarding and deployment, enabling paved-path workflows rather than ticket-based operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar languages, focusing on platform tooling, scripting, or controller development.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities, developer experience, and operational resilience.
