About the role

As a Key Account Managerin our Industrial Network Technology (INT) division, you will be at the intersection of technology and customer engagement and relationship —translating complex needs into actionable solutions for a long-term partnership.

Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities as well as nurturing and developing existing relationships.

This role is particularly well-suited if you enjoy working close with Senior Management and Key Decision Makers with a Large OEM, enjoy building long-term relationships and growth strategies, and if you are close to the technology - collaborating with product owners, developers, and solution experts to shape offers that meet the real-world needs of our major industrial key customers.

While the position is based in France (Home office or HMS France in Mulhouse), you’ll be part of a distributed team across EMEA.

Your team manager is in Germany, while a hosting manager in France will support you locally with matters such as well-being, and work environment. We place great importance on creating a strong sense of belonging and support, regardless of where our employees are physically located.

Travel is expected and is tailored to customers needs and business relevance.

Key Responsibilities
  • You Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly in the industrial connectivity and networks space.
  • You build and maintain strong, trust-based long-term client relationships
  • You collaborate and drive business with C-Level and Senior Management to position HMS as the Partner for Industrial Communication
  • You collaborate closely with technical teams (internally and externally) (e.g. product owners, engineers) to tailor and present the right solutions
  • You act as a translator between customer requirements and internal development efforts
  • You support long-term growth through strategic account planning and hands-on engagement
Your profile
  • You have a technical background—ideally within industrial communication and networks in a B2B context
  • You are very experienced in working closely with both technical (e.g. product owners, developers, engineers) and commercial stakeholders, as well as C-Level and Senior Management
  • You are open-minded, confident, and naturally builds trust across functions and cultures
  • You take initiative, drive progress, and follow through reliably
  • You thrive in international environments and enjoy solving customer challenges with a hands-on, solution-focused mindset
  • You have a strong strategic mindset and ability to anticipate client needs and market trend
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to navigate complex sales cycles
  • You are self-starter, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setup
  • You have a full professional proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
