Job Description

About the Team:

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead strategic customer relationships and drive business growth through active product portfolio management within an international context. Join ZF, a leading company in the independent aftermarket (IAM) sector, as a Key Account Manager and play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with one of our most valued clients.

What you can look forward to as Key Account Manager – Automotive:

  • Develop and build trusting, solid customer relationships with Key Accounts to achieve long-term retention and value generation. Nurture these relationships over time and collaborate to maximize mutual success by identifying growth opportunities.
  • Define the strategy for the Key Account and coordinate with Regional/Country Sales teams regarding local delivery, maintaining a strategic perspective focused on long-term relationships.
  • Act as the main contact and negotiator with the key account customer and the internal ZF Aftermarket team. Manage customer interactions across departments, ensuring customer needs are understood within ZF, and connecting relevant internal teams with customer counterparts to deliver satisfaction through customized solutions and issue resolution.
  • Continuously enhance ZF’s positive differentiation towards the Key Account and provide guidance to Business Development and Transformation functions.
  • Ensure all commercial terms and conditions comply with legal regulations, ZF strategy, and the company's code of conduct (including commercial policies, frameworks, and guidelines).
  • Achieve long- and short-term financial targets with the key account(s).

Your Profile as Key Account Manager – Automotive:

  • Degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, with several years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Deep understanding of the Aftermarket value chain, including product management, marketing, pricing, branding, and distribution, as well as customer requirements and trends.
  • Strong customer network and proven success in stakeholder management.
  • Experience in managing a sales P&L with a strong commercial sense and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Resilience and ability to lead within complex matrix organizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, relationship management, and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in French and English.
