Qualifications

Description du poste

Verkor is a French industrial company aiming to pioneer low-carbon battery manufacturing in France. With the backing of prominent industrial companies such as Renault Group, Plastic Omnium, and Schneider Electric, Verkor intends to electrify the future of European mobility.

With over 750 experts from 48 different countries, our endeavor is to unite exceptional global talent to bring this ambitious and innovative project to life. Our strong and agile international team continues to grow and adapt to new challenges. Based in Grenoble and Dunkirk (France), we have recently started operations at our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

We now focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 GWh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.

In joining us, you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.

Your role is to define and implement the strategy of the company with this customer:
Responsibilities:
  • Capture the customer needs in terms of battery roadmap to make sure Verkor can comply with it.
  • Manage Renault through the sales lifecycle, from upstream discussion to serial life.
  • Define and interface the key stakeholders within the Renault organization from the working level up to executive level.
  • Execution of the Powerhouse program as a core team member of the program management team.
  • Ensure the profitability of the Renault programs.
  • Define the strategy to expand Verkor market share with Renault.
  • Deploy cost roadmap strategy to ensure the competitiveness of our products.
  • Provide customer feedback to the Verkor Product, Marketing and Engineering teams.
  • Develop strong product expertise.
  • Structure commercial offerings based on product capabilities and negotiate complex commercial contracts including terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery agreements.
  • Collaborate with Verkor’s product, business development, process engineering, and customer program teams to identify current and future business opportunities.
  • Hard skills:
  • Ability to work autonomously with Renault.
  • Strong experience leading the Renault account for a major automotive Tier 1 from advanced projects up to serial life.
  • Knowledge of battery systems.
  • Cost analysis, pricing/quotes on complex parts ideally for automotive customers.
  • Soft skills:
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for results.
  • Ability to drive internal teams to satisfy customer requests.
  • Able to work for an industrial startup with limited processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
