Location: Spain or France.

Scope:

We are looking for a skilled KEY ACCOUNT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER who will take the lead on our Long-Term market in the EMEA region:

  1. Reinforce relationships with existing Key Customers (Governmental Agencies).
  2. Create and execute an Action Plan to increase market share by settling new partnerships with Wildfire Fighting actors (aircraft bodybuilders, aerial operators, and first responders contractors).
  3. Develop the Prevention market with public and private entities to diversify our contribution to biodiversity and property preservation and protection.
  4. Identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and help business growth in the EMEA region for firefighting industry solutions and services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with products or services to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  2. Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  3. Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and strategizing to expand the company’s footprint in the market.
  4. Analyzing competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage.
  5. Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics.
  6. Collaborating with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and customer support to deliver exceptional services.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or similar in Sales / Business Administration / Engineering is required; Master's and/or advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Professional fluency in English is mandatory; native languages could either be Spanish or French (all three would be a strong asset).
  3. 5 or more years of experience working in a multinational manufacturing company required; chemicals industry highly preferred.
  4. Experience working with public administration or governmental agencies, preferably in the firefighting / disaster relief environment and local government offices preferred.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  6. Solid knowledge in costing and accounting required along with a recognized track of success in key account management.
  7. The candidate will be based either in Spain or France. The position will require 30% time to travel in the EMEA Region.
