Job Title:

Context:

The Legal Department comprises approximately 50 staff members. It defends the interests and rights of the Air France Group, promotes law, business ethics, and social and environmental responsibility in managing the group's affairs, respecting the group's principles and values.

The Procurement Unit within the Legal Department aims to secure relationships between Air France and its subcontractors by providing proactive and concise legal support to operational teams across all procurement areas (excluding industrial purchases), especially IT purchases, and to contribute to securing operations related to the real estate department.

The Procurement team consists of generalist lawyers working collaboratively in a project mode, adopting a business partner approach: working with operational teams and providing pragmatic, proactive legal advice under the supervision of the Procurement Legal Manager. The team also manages pre-litigation and litigation related to its activities and controls external legal expenses.

The Group's Legal Department is seeking a lawyer specialized in business law and digital law to join the Procurement Legal team. This position is based at the Group's headquarters at Roissy CDG Airport, within an international environment, with the possibility of teleworking 2 to 3 days per week.

The Procurement Lawyer is responsible, under the supervision of the Procurement Legal Manager and in direct contact with other lawyers in the Procurement Unit and the Legal Department, for handling diverse and stimulating legal and contractual files mainly related to IT procurement activities and related issues, in collaboration with KLM's legal department and under the Procurement Department. Tasks include negotiating IT purchase contracts, fuel procurement, airport and in-flight services procurement, and managing the legal aspects of transactions.

The ideal candidate, with a generalist background, should have a strong interest in contract negotiation, especially French and international contracts involving an IT component, and demonstrate a minimum English level of C1 (TOEIC).

The Legal Procurement Lawyer actively cooperates with the procurement department at all stages of contractual negotiations, based on Air France's contractual standards: preparing tender files, developing negotiation strategies, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating French and international contracts. They should adopt a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.

They also work closely with the legal departments of other AF KLM group companies, participate actively in the Legal Department's activities by applying contractual policies and respecting validation processes.
