Job summary

Huawei Europe in Boulogne-Billancourt seeks a skilled Legal Counsel to support a wide range of topics in a fast-paced multinational environment. You will draft, review and negotiate agreements, and provide counsel on cloud computing, telecom, and compliance matters while collaborating with teams across Europe.

The role requires strong English and French language skills, ability to work autonomously, and a proactive, business-oriented approach in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years’ experience as Legal Counsel in a national/international company or law firm.
• Excellent drafting, analytic and negotiation skills with a strong commercial sense and flexible hands-on approach.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and French (legal English).

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on cloud computing, renewable energy, telecom, compliance and other topics.
• Draft, review and negotiate various agreements (Sales, procurement, participation, etc.).
• Support Huawei Compliance Program on labor, environment, anti-bribery (Sapin 2) and related topics.
• Handle disputes.

Job Title: Legal Counsel

Job Location: Boulogne Billancourt

Main Responsibilities

A high variety of topics will keep you challenged throughout your experience with us!

• Providing legal support to our team on a variety of matters, such as: cloud computing and/or renewable energy sector, telecom, compliance, etc.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various agreements (Sales contracts, procurement agreements, participation agreements, etc.)
• Providing a strong support to the Huawei Compliance Program in a lot of different topics like labor, environment, Anti-bribery (Sapin 2)
• Handling disputes
  
  

Requirements:

• Fully qualified legal counsel
• At least 3 years’ experience as Legal Counsel in a national/international company or as a lawyer in a law firm
• Excellent drafting, analytic and negotiation skills with a strong commercial sense and flexible hands-on approach
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (legal English) and French
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively
• Scientific background would be an added advantage
• Keen to be challenged in a fast-paced, commercial environment with multinational staff
