Mission :

We are seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to provide legal support on B2B commercial and regulatory matters within the ICT or Banking industry. The successful candidate will focus on drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.

ACTIVITIES

  1. Commercial Legal Advisory: Provide legal guidance on B2B transactions, IP licenses, service agreements, and partnerships (reseller/distributor).
  2. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including SaaS agreements, outsourcing contracts, grant of licenses, payment services, and technology agreements.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable laws and industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR).
  4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and regulatory requirements.
  5. External Coordination: Engage with external counsel, customers, and occasionally, external administrations.
  6. Legal Administration: Support organizational and administrative tasks within the legal department.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  1. 4-10 years of experience in commercial and regulatory law.
  2. Experience in ICT (SaaS, cloud services, telecom, cybersecurity) or payment services, digital banking.
  3. Strong expertise in B2B contract negotiation, particularly in ICT.
  4. Experience working in sales/technical or other roles outside the legal department would be a plus.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  1. Lawyer or Paralegal with at least the equivalent of a Master’s degree in law.
  2. Knowledge of telecom, technology, international commercial law, and international sanctions compliance.
  3. Ability to manage complex transactions and provide business-oriented legal solutions.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  5. Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations.
  6. Fluency in English and French.

Contract : permanent, full time
