Your environment
As a Juriste / Contract Manager (CDI), you will join the Purchasing Department, reporting to the IT Purchasing team, within a team of 7 people. You are based in Levallois-Perret, with a planned move to Puteaux from April 2025.
Your missions
The Juriste / Contract Manager will advise and support the Purchasing Department and operational units on legal and regulatory aspects in relation to our suppliers.
The Purchasing Department covers all areas outside of production:
IT/Telecom,
Intellectual services,
Outsourced services, Marketing, Communication, Innovation, General expenses, Events.
Contracts related to IT and intellectual services are significant for Swiss Life. Skills in digital law and labor law are highly recommended.
The Purchasing Department may also support technical departments with insurance-related aspects, such as Damage and Health insurance.
Experience in the insurance sector would be appreciated.
Contract Manager responsibilities include:
Regulatory/Market monitoring: Revise and update the legal library and contracts based on legal and regulatory changes.
Coordinate with ISRM/DPO/Data Quality/BCP-PCI teams to update clauses and gather stakeholder inputs for contract negotiations.
At project initiation
Assist project managers and buyers in contractual analysis of the specifications (contract matrix).
Participate in preparing commercial offers and negotiations.
Identify project risks and propose contractual mechanisms to mitigate them.
Draft contractual commitments aligned with the project.
During contract execution
Explain and make accessible all binding elements.
Manage contractual aspects of the project (operational, supplier, buyer).
Alert the project manager of any risks of non-compliance with contractual obligations.
Track, formalize events impacting the project such as non-compliance, claims, regulatory requirements.
Anticipate renewals.
Develop tracking tools for pre-litigation issues.
Contract closure
Plan and implement closure or renewal procedures.
Conduct supplier debriefs/evaluation.
Implement amendments or send notices.
Cross-functional missions
Ensure contract compliance.
Update the contract database within the ongoing implementation of the contract library.
Participate in reporting contract performance to risk and compliance departments.
