Who we are looking for

Coperni is looking for their next face of the brand; a motivated Junior Sales Associate to work in their shop in the Printemps Department Store in Paris.

Working as part of the sales team, you will:

  1. Lead by example and provide excellent customer service by building relationships with clientele.
  2. Assist Senior Sales Associate with merchandising duties including daily replenishment and monthly stock checks.
  3. Help the store achieve sales and profit targets by actively contacting and proposing products to clients.
  4. Be responsible for selling during store hours whilst on the floor as well as during promotional events.
  5. Meet sales targets and weekly trade plans laid out by Coperni.
  6. Merchandise the product following brand guidelines.
  7. Manage stock: Including delivery, tracking and stock room.
  8. Foster relationships with other departments internally (sales team, design, marketing), but also within Printemps (floor manager, logistics, visual merchandising, other brands etc.).

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Stay informed about current and future deliveries and translate the relevant information to customers.
  2. Stay aware of which lines need to be strategically pushed in store.
  3. Understand and demonstrate a high level of customer service by assessing and adapting to different client tastes and needs.
  4. Replenish stock daily and maintain high standards of visual merchandising in the space according to the brand guidelines.
  5. Be knowledgeable on past and present season products - well versed in brand history, seasonal inspiration, fit and fabrics.
  6. Assist with maintaining excellent standards in the stockroom.
  7. Manage Customer Relationship and build relationships with clientele.
  8. Stay on top of fashion trends & industry updates.

Requirements:

  1. Retail experience preferably from a luxury retail environment.
  2. Fluent in French and English.
  3. Having an existing Client List would be preferred.
  4. A commitment to achieving and exceeding targets whilst focusing on the client’s needs and experience.
  5. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  6. Strong and demonstrable commercial acumen.
  7. A proactive approach in tackling issues and an ability to identify and implement solutions.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Excellent time management & organisational skills.
  10. Positive attitude – Shows resilience and initiative when needed.
  11. Enthusiastic, motivated and a committed self-starter with a “can do” attitude.
  12. Adept at multitasking and time management.
  13. Organised, thorough and with a keen eye for detail.
  14. Communicate in a confident and courteous manner; with colleagues at all levels of seniority and external contacts.
  15. Trustworthy, reliable, team player who can work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
