Content Guru is a leading global provider of enterprise cloud CX and CCaaS solutions, with a growing QA team in Porto, Portugal. We invite a Graduate Quality Assurance Engineer to start a career in software testing, learning to plan, execute and automate tests while ensuring software quality.

You will collaborate with QA, Applications and Product teams, grow your testing skills, and have opportunities to progress into a Quality Assurance Engineer role as experience develops.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
• Keen interest in technology, software and Quality Assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Able to communicate technical information clearly.
• Strong IT and computer literacy.
• A proactive approach to learning and developing new technical skills.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar database technology would be advantageous.
• A Master's degree in a relevant subject would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain clear, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Carry out manual and regression testing across new and existing software.
• Identify, document and track software defects through to resolution.
• Review requirements and technical information to support effective testing.
• Maintain test results and relevant quality assurance metrics.
• Develop and execute automated tests with support from experienced colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and increase automation.
• Keep up to date with new testing tools, technologies and approaches.
• Support improvements that increase the speed, accuracy and reliability of software testing.
• Work closely with QA, Applications and Product colleagues to understand system and release requirements.
• Investigate software issues and support their effective resolution.
• Develop your technical knowledge of Content Guru products and Quality Assurance practices.
• Learn from experienced QA Engineers and actively build the skills required to progress within the team.
