A leading automotive company is seeking a skilled procurement professional to support coordination between their Purchasing function and project teams. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring project cost targets are met, requiring strong negotiation skills and a background in business or engineering. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and good communication skills, as well as proficiency in tools like SAP and Microsoft Office.
The role supports coordination between the Purchasing function and Project teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) for the development and serial production of vehicles. This includes managing a dedicated perimeter, supporting the purchasing team during supplier selection, managing suppliers, coordinating multidisciplinary teams during project development, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring contractual observance.
