Description du poste

Scope

The role supports coordination between the Purchasing function and Project teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) for the development and serial production of vehicles. This includes managing a dedicated perimeter, supporting the purchasing team during supplier selection, managing suppliers, coordinating multidisciplinary teams during project development, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring contractual observance.

Activities
  • Conduct supplier kick-offs after supplier award confirmation
  • Negotiate potential volume increases and capacity modifications during development
  • Control and negotiate the impact of changes during development, focusing on economic and timing aspects
  • Release final start of production prices, including project change notices
  • Identify troubled suppliers and potential shortages; follow up with stakeholders for escalation
  • Support Supplier Quality teams to meet capacity and quality targets
  • Lead summary meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage negotiations
  • Achieve total production cost targets
  • Negotiate quality, cost, technical performance, and engineering change terms
  • Ensure supplier tool kickoff
  • Open or secure orders at appropriate times
  • Meet final price targets aligned with project needs
  • Monitor prices and supplier capacities during development
