Cafeyn is looking for an Associate Product Manager in Paris. In this role, you'll work with the Product team to deliver features and enhance user experiences for our digital reading service. You'll lead end-to-end project deliveries and participate in user research, all while receiving mentorship to grow into a fully autonomous Product Manager.

Your team & responsibilities

As Associate Product Manager, you'll join Cafeyn Group's Product team (composed of Product Management, Product Design, User Research, UW Writing & Product Data Analysis teams) and start building the foundations of a long-term Product Management career. Your mission is to learn, under close mentorship, how to turn user needs and business goals into shipped features that move the needle for thousands of readers.

You'll help Senior Product Managers in their work (providing support and analysis, helping during the test phase, taking on some communication and documentation tasks). And you'll start working on a defined, contained scope (a feature or a small set of related improvements), partnering with Design, Copy, Data Analyst, Engineering, and QA to deliver it end-to-end. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role: you'll write product documentation, help run user interviews, monitor KPIs, and progressively build the judgment that lets you take on bigger ambiguity over time.

Reporting to the Director of Product, you'll be supported with regular coaching, feedback, and the structure to grow quickly into a fully autonomous Product Manager role.

Your missions

Delivery & Project Management

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of features within your scope, from refinement to release

• Coordinate Engineering, and QA to keep delivery on track

• Prepare, plan, and run small‑size projects, managing scope, risks, and dependencies across teams

• Write clear product specifications that engineering can build against with confidence.

Discovery

• Participate in user interviews and discovery workshops alongside your other Product Team members

• Synthesize user feedback into clear insights, with guidance from senior team members

• Help validate problems before they turn into solutions, rather than jumping straight to features

Analytics & KPIs

• Build and interpret dashboards, with guidance, to track feature performance.

• Flag anomalies or gaps in the data and ask for help when something doesn't add up

Product Strategy & Knowledge

• Understand Cafeyn's product strategy and how your day‑to‑day work contributes to it

• Learn how priorities are derived from product goals, and start connecting the dots between user problems and roadmap decision

• Build a working knowledge of the Cafeyn & Readly products, the media industry, and our users' reading habits

Who are we looking for?

You are at the right place if you have

• You have 1–2 years of experience in a Product role (Product Manager, Associate PM, or an equivalent internship/apprenticeship), ideally in a B2C digital product

• You're naturally curious and eager to learn; you ask questions, seek feedback, and apply it quickly

• You communicate clearly and respectfully, in writing and out loud, with peers across functions

• You know how to organize your own work, meet your commitments, and flag a problem or ask for help before it becomes a blocker.

• You show empathy toward users and teammates alike, and you genuinely want to understand the 'why' behind a feature, not just the 'what'

• You're comfortable with ambiguity in small doses and rely on guidance for the rest. You're here to build judgment, not to have it all figured out yet

• You're fluent in French and English, and comfortable working with international stakeholders in both
