Cafeyn is seeking a Backend Developer to join the Tech - Back End team of 10+ developers. You will contribute to building robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems, APIs and services. The role emphasizes code quality, testing, and collaboration in an agile environment.

The position is open to full remote within France with a hybrid office culture and opportunities for growth in a fast-evolving digital content platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar backend role.
• Strong working knowledge of C# (.Net Core).
• Experience with SQL.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and/or gRPC.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing and code reviews.

Responsabilités

• Develop APIs and back-end components.
• Maintain and evolve existing systems.
• Participate in technical design of back-end architecture.
• Ensure development lifecycle, code reviews, versioning and documentation.
• Write unit tests and follow coding standards.
• Follow agile methodologies and participate in team rituals.
• Monitor emerging technologies and propose new software bricks for the roadmap.

Your team & responsibilities

You will join the Tech team - Back End team composed ofa team of over 10 developers to ensure the robustness, scalability, performance, and security of the company’s back-end systems.

Your missions

• Participate in the development of APIs and other back-end components.

• Ensure the operation and maintenance as well as the evolution of existing systems.

• Participate in technical design of our back-end systems.

• Ensure all phases of development, code review, versioning, documentation and maintenance.

• Write unit tests, follow code naming and coding style rules, participate in code reviews.

• Respect the methods and processes put in place (agile methodology).

• Ensure a permanent technological watch on its technological sector in order to be able to quickly detect emerging technical solutions and software bricks (Open Source, market software, etc.) that can be integrated into the company's roadmap.

Who are we looking for?

You are at the right place if you have

• 3+ years of experience on a similar role

• Strong working knowledge of C # (.Net Core framework)

• SQL experience

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and/or gRPC

• Experience with development tools, source management and CI/CD

• Experience in performance optimization, unit tests and best practice

• Product vision

• Team play and strong sense of cross collaboration

• Bilingual in French and English
